The November 3, 2026 General Election is approaching, and Middlesex County voters will have a proposed 1% general retail sales tax referendum on the ballot. The referendum asks whether the county should add the tax to provide revenue solely for the construction or major renovation of Middlesex County Public Schools.

Remembering September 11, 2001
Eighth-grade students at St. Clare Walker Middle School took time to honor and remember the events of September 11, 2001, through a meaningful and powerful learning experience.
Students were provided mock boarding passes, explored family testimonies, and watched videos documenting the devastation and the impact felt across our nation. School Board Member Karen McMinn also shared her personal account of that day, giving students the opportunity to hear firsthand about the uncertainty, fear, and unity that followed.
As we remember those we lost and those whose lives were forever changed, we are reminded of the strength, compassion, and unity our nation demonstrated in the days that followed. 🇺🇸
We remember. We honor. We will never forget.

Over the summer, eighth grader Nate Sellers managed a 'Name Your Price' yard sale. All proceeds were advertised to go to the 8th-grade student fund to help support student activities and field trips. He was able to raise $200.
Jeffery Peters is the winner of a free 26-27 yearbook from SCW's tissue drive on Open House! Congratulations, Jeffery! Many thanks to all who donated to the drive!
On Tuesday, November 3, our community will vote on implementing this proposed sales tax for the modernization of Middlesex High School, built in 1949.
A comprehensive study has documented significant aging, safety, accessibility, code, and infrastructure needs at MHS.
If approved, the tax would be paid on taxable purchases by residents AND nonresidents, helping to address the urgent need while relieving some of the burden on property tax payers.

Congratulations to Liam Simmons! Liam attended the 2026 TSA National Conference this past summer and won the CO2 Dragster Competition! Out of 173 middle school dragster entries, Liam placed 1st! Check out his first place trophy and winning dragster in the cafeteria display case.

-SCW co-ed soccer - August 24 - 26 after school until 5:00 pm
-SCW girls' basketball - August 24 after school at MES until 5:00 pm *Students will ride a transfer bus to MES. Pick up will be at MES.
*Please send a note giving your child permission to stay after school for tryouts.
